About this deal

Near to Bridlington and Fraisthorpe both lovely beaches and also near to many farm shops and lovely Yorkshire villages. Lots to do in a week. Very pleasant owner to greet you on arrival. Another good Sykes property. Lynn Prior (née Dixon) initially shared a flat with her sister Tracey and Barbara Watling. Married Peter Tyson in late 1969 and had a son Jeremy in 1972. Following her divorce she married Matt Prior. Played by Judy Franklin. Well equipped - everything we needed and more besides. Well-kept garden and peaceful surroundings. Excellent location for exploring the coastal paths and the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The cottage is situated between 2 towns which both have large chain supermarkets and there is a National Trust house minutes away. The route then descends into the wooded hillsides and rich farmlands of Perthshire and Stirling, then onward through Queen Elizabeth Forest Park and onto traffic-free paths into Glasgow.

The owners were extremely helpful and friendly and have furnished and equipped the cottage to a very high standard. The beds and seating are very comfortable. There is lots to see and do in the area without having to travel very far, including the amazing Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve. We didn’t manage to fit everything we wanted to do into the week so are hoping to stay again later in the year. Cottage beautiful and very clean. Views amazing. Enjoyed the hot tub.
