About this deal

It remains to be seen if this warrior race will ever be able to regroup and grow its numbers — the foundlings they protect and raise as Mandalorians may be their last hope — but now that this tribe is out in the open after the climax of episode 3, who knows what might be next for the group. Hopefully, the show will continue to explore more about this culture and perhaps even open a path for them to return to Mandalore. In 60 BBY, Mandalore Jaster Mereel issued his Supercommando Codex. Jaster's men served as mercenaries and warriors for hire, but their primary goal was to hunt the Death Watch. During the Mandalorian Civil War, the Supercommandos loyal to Mereel's True Mandalorian faction were eliminated to the last man at the Battle of Galidraan in the year 44 BBY. Following the war, many Supercommandos traveled throughout the galaxy as mercenaries. Decades later, during the Clone Wars, Mandalore the Resurrector and Fenn Shysa trained a battalion of Supercommandos that raided Republic holdings as Separatist mercenaries. By the end of the war, a large number of Supercommandos including those of the Mandalorian Protectors, had been killed in action. It is unknown if Shysa's later incarnation of the Mandalorian Protectors used the term Supercommando. By the time of the Second Galactic Civil War in 40 ABY, Mandalore Boba Fett had a total of one hundred Supercommandos to call on including Fett's granddaughter Mirta Gev, her fiancé Ghes Orade, Orade's adoptive father Novoc Vevut, Baltan Carid, Ram Zerimar, and Goran Beviin. Saxon traveled with a complement of super commandos to the Wren Stronghold on the planet Krownest, where members of Clan Wren had encircled Sabine and the two Jedi, one being Ezra Bridger, whom he had fought with previously, and the second being Bridger's master Kanan Jarrus. Saxon called upon Ursa to give him the Darksaber, which she had previously retrieved from her daughter to bargain her life with, seeking the ancient weapon to firmly cement his rule over Mandalore as legitimate. With the Darksaber in hand, Saxon declared that Ursa and all of Clan Wren had indeed held their end of the bargain, but to do so had consorted with traitors, making them liable to treason, for which he intended to wipe out the entire clan as an example. When Tristan Wren, son of Ursa and brother of Sabine, protested and said they were all Mandalorian therefore making such a betrayal unreasonable, Saxon realized he still had use and offered him a place to stay with the Empire over his family. To the Viceroy's satisfaction, Tristan initially seemed to side with him before declaring his place was at his family's side. Unconcerned, Saxon declared that Clan Wren would end with him and ignited the Darksaber as a signal to his men. [11] There! Gar Saxon first appeared in the 2014 Dark Horse Comics Star Wars: Darth Maul—Son of Dathomir, which was based on four uncompleted Star Wars: The Clone Wars episodes. Saxon later appeared in Star Wars Rebels, where he was voiced by Ray Stevenson, who later reprised his role in the seventh season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. As the Republic forces entered the sewage ports themselves, Saxon, Kast, and several other super commandos waited in hiding to spring their trap. Seeing that they were in an optimal position, Kast sprung the trap, firing an explosive at the Republic forces, disorienting them for a moment before they charged towards the super commandos. The super commandos easily outmatched the clones, and as Tano reached a clearing in the ports, attempting to regroup with her forces, the super commandos surrounded her, and Maul emerged from hiding to confront her. [15] As a female member of the human species, [2] Kast had brown hair, blue eyes, [4] and fair skin. [2] By the time of the Siege of Mandalore, Kast had purple hair. One of the most famous of these is Concord Dawn, a name which has survived several different continuity shuffles. These conquered planets became the Mandalore sector. While the Mandalorians also took over other worlds outside of it, this sector was their base of power for most of galactic history. The 501st is led into battle by CC-7567 Captain Rex as the Secondary unit with his trusty 501st Clone Troopers as his Supporting unit. The Mandaloriantakes place five years after Return of the Jedi. The Rebel Alliance has become the New Republic and has ousted the remnants of the Empire from most of the galaxy. Only Imperial warlords and smaller cells of the Emperor’s forces remain, and mostly in the Outer Rim where the New Republic doesn’t yet have enough pull.

Saxon's death plunged Mandalore into a civil war. [10] The commandos fell under the leadership of Mandalore's new Imperial governor and Saxon's brother, Tiber Saxon. [3] In 1 BBY, [9] commandos under Captain Hark accompanied a convoy of stormtroopers and scout troopers to escort Alrich Wren to be executed in Sundari. The commandos fought against several members of the Spectres and Clan Wren. [3] He's the Emperor's Hand, the acting ruler and governor of Mandalore." ―Sabine and Tristan Wren [11] Gar Saxon was a brutal, ruthless, and aggressive Mandalorian. Under Maul he was shown to be very dedicated to the cause despite Maul being an outsider and a Force-user. After Maul's defeat, Saxon again swore loyalty to an outsider, this time the Empire. This led some, such as Sabine Wren, to question whether his true loyalty belonged to Mandalore or himself. This also meant his honor was called into question, preventing him from claiming the title of Mand'alor. Saxon was a fierce and brutal warrior and commander. He took pride in killing the Protectors for colluding with the rebellion and was determined to kill their leader Fenn Rau. Saxon was a ruthless and impatient interrogator who was not above using violence to extract results. He was an extremely cunning and manipulative leader. [6] Close Support is Bo-Katan’s stance card which has a combat tree with early branching to provide options with access to a lot of shoves, an easy pin, and extra mobility. Defensively Bo-Katan only rolls 4 dice at range and melee but her defensive innate abilities help to compensate for this. At range 4 Bo-Katan gets to roll 6 dice and in melee she rolls 7 (these will more likely be 7 and 8 respectively with the free focus). At both melee and range Bo-Katan gets the same expertise chart which get access to a crit at 2 expertise and has the potential for 2 crits and damage at 4 expertise.In the year 19 BBY, [10] after Maul was bested in combat by his former master, Darth Sidious, [8] he was imprisoned in the Spire, a Confederacy of Independent Systems prison on the planet Stygeon Prime. Kast and Commander Gar Saxon followed Sidious and Maul to Stygeon, and were tasked by Mandalorian Prime Minister Almec, [7] whom Maul had selected as the public leader of Mandalore after his takeover of the planet, [11] with infiltrating the Spire and rescuing Maul.

The Mandalorian Super Commandos seem to have an emphasis on mobility and focus actions. In Star wars Shatterpoint units cannot perform the same action twice using their normal actions on their turn. The Mandalorian Super Commandos have multiple ways to get free jump actions to not only cover more ground but to easily traverse terrain. In addition to this, these units also have tools to get more mileage from focus actions. The Mandalorian Super Commandos also differentiate themselves from their Nite Owl counterparts by being a bit more combative. Shortly before entering Dathomir's atmosphere, Maul—revealing to Dooku that he knew the count still remained loyal to Sidious and did not truly wish to ally himself with Maul—had Kast hold her blaster to Dooku's head and watch his every move as their ship landed at the Nightbrother village, where they disembarked. Kast handed Dooku over to the Nightbrothers, who brought him and Maul to a chamber in the village which was said to be the heart of the power of Mother Talzin, [4] a Dathomirian witch who had once [16] led the Nightsisters [17] and was the mother of Maul. [14] A human female [2] born on the Outer Rim planet Mandalore, Rook Kast was the leader of the Mandalorian super commandos [1]—Mandalorian soldiers who served the Sith Lord Maul [8] and were a part of his criminal alliance, the Shadow Collective, during the Clone Wars. [9] Gar Saxon was a Mandalorian human male who served as a commander of the Mandalorian super commandos in Maul's Shadow Collective during the Clone Wars and later as Imperial Viceroy and Governor of his homeworld of Mandalore during the reign of the Galactic Empire.More droids coming this way. Saxon sensed the boy was lying and told Ezra that he was giving him what he wanted to know whether he realized it or not. After Saxon threatened to dig out of Chopper's memory circuits, Ezra claimed that Fenn Rau had sent him. [6]
