Hello all guys, sorry for my english, we are discussing on a forum about usb imput. Please could someone confirm us that the usb imput will use alc4050 as dac chip and NOT use dac chip es9023? Or alc4050 is just a converter that coincidentally use es9023 imput? I am not sure it has to do with USB on my TV (Sony XH95) or the amplifier itself... or Spotify? I use Spotify High Quality on the TV. edited) my focusrite usb interface seems to have a decent amount of hiss, so it overtakes the amp hiss at a volume of 31 (of 70), but this is still plenty. We focus on education, discussion, and sharing of entry and mid level separate & multi component audio systems.

The performance of desktop power amplifiers has been disappointing. Often the power is very low and distortion and noise quite high. Until now, I have not had any that I would recommend strongly. Well all that changed with the Loxjie A30. This is an attractive, solid performance with excellent measured and subjective sound quality. Inclusion of a USB DAC and Coax/Toslink input eliminates the need for a DAC for less clutter. It can easily replace a sound bar (using Toslink input from TV) and make for a great secondary system. 40 watts into 4 ohm with very low distortion and noise is plenty good for desktop use.Speakers can only play what the amplifier feeds it, so if they are of sufficient quality, and not so old that they have started to literally start to fail (crossover parts on the majority of consumer speakers have a built-in countdown timer as a consequence of costs saving, they use electrolytic capacitors instead of film capacitors which last longer and have a higher tolerance of variation than any electrolytic capacitor).

I'm pretty new to passive speakers but wanted to give it a try as my rokit 6's had terrible hiss and trafo humm. (no, it was not a ground loop) Your speakers are the voice or instrument, an amplifier is a relatively dumb device in that it only has one task which is to Amplify the input signal. Speakers are obviously going to make a huge difference because they are what is actually making the sound.On top of that, the unit seems to have a rather significant level of hiss when not playing anything. I'm using the optical input and the noise is the same regardless of whether or not the cable is even plugged in. I'm surprised they don't just stop the output amp when no data is coming in, since this is a class D amp and could theoretically not output any noise in that case. Just to report an update after a few weeks of listening paired with the DBR-62s, I have to say that is quite amazing the power that this little beast delivers to the speakers without even getting warm after few listening hours.

Testing the Loxjie A30 put a smile on my face and landed it happily on my recommended list. You are getting restaurant quality meal at fast food prices. Update: I'm embarrassed to admit it, but the hiss wasn't coming from my speakers. Something in both of the A30s I have is emitting the noise. The unit should be fanless, so it must be a component vibrating or the case itself vibrating due to induced EMF. If I put my hand on the case, the sound is somewhat attenuated. That's still bad for my purposes, but I suppose it could be fine for some people depending on their use case. The D30 is quite expensive, but from my understanding reading review it has superior sound quality, better than MX5 (?). Room: the left one will be with it's edge against the wall and 35 cm away from the corner. right speaker will only be 35 cm away from the wall with 2 screens in between. The Loxjie A30 is an attractive, solid performance with excellent measured and subjective sound quality. Inclusion of a USB DAC and Coax/Toslink input eliminates the need for a DAC for less clutter "the loxjie seems to have a bit more "warmth?" by which i mean higher output volume in the lower mids. A DAC or whatever method of single ended input you are using will make a huge difference to what the amplifier produces and amplifies.
