I usually pass over rose fragrances but I often spend time googling whims like "Hogwarts house perfumes", and I'll let you guess which one of those two wound me up here. This one was suggested by a Fragrantica member for Ginny: pretty French roses for the feisty tomboy? The graceful but heavy glass bottle with its lovely warm-deep-pink cloth ribbon drew me in as well. A play of contrasts; something interesting must be going on here. Thank you, my Fragrantica friends... The only downside with this: might be the shorter longevity. The projection and the sillage is weaker than the original, but that does not have to be a downside. You just choose the fragrances for different occasions.

When you spray it, you get a burst of warmth: bergamot and citrus, with the roses peeking out shyly. It settles into a sunny green afternoon, as the rose opens fuller. You are in a freshly turned rose garden, with magnolia and orange trees also blooming. The drydown is a beautiful soft floral rose with a hint of citrus; a bouquet of new roses mixed with orange blossom and a bit of cedar. It's a lovely, innocent floral, able to be worn to work or an evening out, perfect for an afternoon wedding or picnic with a lover. It is classy and feminine. Definitely a mimosa perfume, at least that’s what I smell more clearly, and the rose is the May kind of rose, fresh and lemony so blends in with the lemon. I really like mimosa, so quite happy with it. It is a soft innocent type of scent but does not disappear in 2 hours- I can still smell where I sprayed this on my arm quite clearly 3-4 hours later. It reminds me a bit of Iris Perle from Les Indemodables. In that one the clary sage gives spark to the mimosa, and here the cassis and lemon do the same. Nice. First impression is I like it. ROSE TANGERINE is, however, more self-confident, modern and feminine than its predecessors, especially joins here a fruity and lively tangerine, which gives the fragrance its name. Aaabut...my last fragrance post included a bottling of this scent. It was hot that day, the day was stressful I was slightly irritable (but only slightly) and I had a few things to do on the PC. In my humble opinion Chloe should not shy away from this fragrance whatsoever, as it pleases both the young and the old costumers of the house. The first because of it's modern spin with the added lemon and green notes at first - smelling youthful and crisp. And as for the second due to it's robust rosy body, an ingredient sure to make the elder swoon because of how refreshingly modern it made such an usual scent feel.

This is my very first Rose based perfume, which I would never in a million years would have thought of trying, had it not been gifted to me by my then 15 year old niece. For me and for a strange reason, although I thought I had found my favorite edition, when I smelled of Roses de Chloe I fell in love. Rose tone and love? It's like a miracle for my tastes. The bottle with the ribbon is simple, the color of juice is attractive. Testing this in the winter (almost) with an inside temperature of 64 degrees F. Two sprays on my right arm. I got a bit roped into trying this by a nice sales lady pushing product, but I ended up loving it. I didn't buy it as I wanted to see how it would wear all day rather than going off ten minutes, but now that I have worn it this is going on my wish-list. Who the previous Chloés were too rose-heavy, could find here a rather fruity-floral answer. In my eyes, rose tangerine offers a very good start for Chloé fragrance beginners.

Wow, what a beautiful scent! I absolutely love roses, so I decided to give this a chance. I've never tried Chloe EDP, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm in love with this.

I was curious about the ingredient tangerine - but could only hear tangerine, which seems but fresh and unsour - and keeps the fragrance transparent.
