The story follows Evan Zanders, a pro hockey star who has been playing up his bad boy persona for years. The little touches that they see each other and care for each other proves they finally found someone that settles their soul.

I haven’t seen in too much in the blogging sphere, but I have seen it quite a bit on instagram and booktube.They really do take their time to build up a strong emotional connection, and that was one of the best parts of the book.

It reminded me a lot of one of my other favorites, Consider Me, though this felt fresh and different in its own way. In fact, he thoroughly enjoys spending the majority of his game time in the penalty box before leaving the arena with a new girl on his arm.Arranged marriages don't happen in the modern world, so how did the irrepressible Daisy find herself in this fix? I was also hooked on both characters – the infuriatingly arrogant (yet immensely appealing) Zanders and the strong, fierce Stevie, who battles insecurities about her curvy figure. Although she can criticize herself at times, she shines throughout the book by flaunting her positive attitude and learning to be more confident about her own skin.

Watching them meet and trying to ignore their attraction because they couldn’t be together and fight for each other was a real delight. I can definitely say that it most definitely is worth the length, once you read it, you will see why and why its needed and I feel like the author really fleshed all the aspects out fully which made it such a satisfying romance! About The Book Wedding Day Pretty, flighty Daisy Devreaux can either go to jail or marry the mystery man her father has chosen for her. It’s a very long book by a new-to-me author, so I knew that it’d need to have a strong start to have any chance of holding my interest – and it definitely did.

He needs me to act as his loving girlfriend who's suddenly changed him into a friendly and approachable guy. A reader created this book listing before I had a chance to do so myself and they used the placeholder image. As a lifelong sports fan and reader of all things romance, I love mixing the two to deliver swoon-worthy men who look good in a uniform. While Mile High and The Right Move are so different, Liz found a way to balance all the found family we loved from that book and add a more emotional storyline that will give you all the feels. But that’s how good Liz’s writing is, no matter how many times you’ve read her books, it’s different every time.

Now I love a good romance, but the point of a sports romance, is to see the “sport” being focused on and Liz Tomforde handled this aspect so well. It was a fantastic first experience with this new author, and it’s got me incredibly excited to read more from the series.Missing his sophomore season to recover from his injury and he was not drafted for the NHL that year. The complexity of how that affects not only who you are as a person, but how others treat you in different ways. I haven’t read much sports romance if I am being honest, and I had heard this is one of the best ones that has ever been written. Including the promise she made to never hook up with an athlete again…no matter how annoyingly tempting he may be.
