Story consists of six different narratives, all linked to the murderer or people who knew the murderer. So all the six different people brought something unique with their storytelling. Some told how they knew the murderer and how these events effected them. And then there were those two twisted students who were at the center of all this. Every confession hit me differently, some made me angry, some sad, and others made me want to strangle someone. Both Naoki and Shūya have communication issues, failing to make some of their main concerns clear to those in a position to help them; arguably, quite a lot that happened was easily preventable.

It’s the last day of term, and Yuko’s last day at work. She tells her students that she has resigned because of what happened – but not for the reasons they think. Wow. Simply a WOW. Not many revenge psychological thrillers can make me say this. So wonderfully adapted. This is simply brilliant directing from an incredible revenge novel that deserved it top prize in Japan. But when I completed the book I understood in what aspects she was inspired by her. Like instead of in terms of who did it? It was more like who took the revenge? It was slow and 'let audience solve' it type of book.

I watched it with my mouth wide open. The plot is perfect. I don't know what to complain. There are even some bloody scenes added to it, which make the movie more interesting.Along the way we learn more about the different players, and the motives and reasoning behind some of their actions. I was like wtf and wow at the same time. That revenge plan was like WOW.

Confesiones es un diálogo abierto de varias personajes sobre el mismo hecho: el curioso "accidente" de la hija de la profesora Moriguchi y los implicados en tal funesta circunstancia que llevó a la muerte de la pequeña. Una historia que va de confesiones duras y sinceras, sobre juicios cara a cara, justicia tomada por mano propia, castigos crueles, muchísima hipocresía y actos monstruosos bajo el tapete por personajes que están poseídos por ansias de venganza sin fin. Una historia que te muestra que nada es lo que parece y que es mejor no llevarse por la the most amazing psychological play I've ever seen. I just can't find right words to describe my feelings after watching it.

Confessions’ revolves around the revenge plot contrived by a middle school teacher Yuko Moriguchi. Her four-year daughter Manami accidentally dies on the school grounds but on further investigation, she learns it wasn’t an accident. Heartbroken, she decides to resign but during her last lecture to the class, she reveals the truth about the incident and sets in motion a plan to avenge her daughter. The story showcases the lives of the people in the aftermath of her confession. Además del propio asesinato, la autora trata muchos temas de interés de una cultura que parece muy distinta pero que realmente tiene muchos puntos en común a la nuestra; como la relación entre las madres trabajadoras y sus hijos o el bullying dentro del sistema educativo y como lo afrontan los docentes y familiares. Before anything else there is also a movie version of this book which I prefer more because that movie is literally art. Me ha gustado mucho ver la historia desde la perspectiva de todos los implicados; así podemos ver la motivación de cada uno, y los motivos que les llevaron a la situación final.
