About this deal

Ill be asking for feedback on themes/environments as new maps/guns are added as well as regular updates based on any feedback received. Waddick’s issue is filled with action, character development (for Giaris), and a rock-solid cliffhanger. Hadrian has always been quiet in the series but getting his point of view and seeing how he got together with Jayne. The good alcohol is a bottle of Tondarian Fire because only the top shelf when you are this screwed. I personally would have put the “childhood” segments as a flashback in future chapters and start with in the middle of the action from the get go.

While it was nice to have more of a background on Jayne and Hadrian, it was much too short and unrealistic (compared to the other books of other characters in the series) for my taste. Entering a world both new and yet disturbingly familiar, you realise that the shadows might just be holding monsters after all.She accepts what she believes is an easy retrieval assignment, only to have the contract changed to an execution one. The cameo appearance of a few of the superstars of the leagues previous books not only does not save this dreary novella it glaringly shows how far this series has fallen.

In this remarkable book, Scott Gac unpicks individual, group, and institutional expressions of power, refracted through race, gender, and class. I think you could be right there - at one point I changed the transitions so it had the passage of time at the top of the page in bold - then I scrapped it but maybe something like that would be less jarring? The opinions stated in this review are mine and mine alone, I was not paid or requested to give this book a certain rating, suggestion, or approval.

This one quickly spun out of control for Jayne when her simple find and bring back assignment went to kill and in a very messy way. Especially, as it becomes harder with each new announcement to know which is the next book in the series (League) I loved so much. If you love hot "romance" amongst born enemies, often on the run from an even bigger enemy, then I highly recommend you start with book 1. Kudos to McQueen (Kenyon) for giving us another story that pulls us away from all we need to escape while giving us a clear view on what matters most. With superb sarcastic humor and an endless supply of violence, Born of Blood is a can't miss for all League lovers, and a reason for others to join the bandwagon!
