Each chapter addresses something that is common amongst women with ADHD, though we each may manifest it differently. Released in July 2019, it’s working off of the latest information we have on ADHD and women, although I would still add the second edition of the next book to your must-have list! It touches on the emotional roadblocks that impact our lives with ADHD, and builds skills around mindfulness and self-compassion. They also mention a couple of times that things are different for woman from different backgrounds (race, socioeconomic status, sexuality, etc) but don’t put any effort into gearing any of the book to said individuals, which makes it extra unhelpful.
