About this deal

With this fragrance, you will create a lasting impression and leave a fragrant signature that will be remembered. Which isn't a bad things cause it's doesn't smell like your fresh off shower kinda of smell so I can see where this is going.

After some moments that kinda odeur perfume aroma evolves in something unique, old schoold smell, the vibe of a men dressed in a Boss suit, bright boss sunglasses with a cigar between the fingers. I like to have a change fromt eh usuals every now and then, so after Dior Sauvage, Paco Raban Million I thought I'd try Hugo Boss. To me it smells citrus zesty, spicy, little soapy and some unrecognisable notes, had I smelt it one and only, I wouldn’t have picked….There is no need for me to jump on the bandwagon of the reformulation mafia because i am sure everything about it has been said left right and centre.

Finally, the fragrance is rounded off with a deep and intense base of patchouli, musk, and cedarwood, leaving a lasting and irresistible scent on the skin. This impacts the ability of the fragrance to last and around eighty percent of the oils in an EDT fragrance will evaporate within three hours of application.But I only put on two and I think I could put on another and it would be completely fine to wear out in public. Once it dries down a little, the honey is revealed in its full splendor, all while being supported by tobacco and oakmoss (among its 25+ other notes, of course). They both share a beautiful note of honey which is the star of both but while Paco Rabanne has a fruit preserve vibe about it, this has a bit of a floral heart with Jasmine and Rose. At first 5 minutes after spraying, it gives me a strange (but nice) smell , like a green odeur perfume you identify in fresh cleaned bathrooms, a smell i would say i encountered few times as a child in some luxurious hotel/restaurant lavatories, weird to say.

Hugo Boss does not have similar scents, at least nowadays, and by chance I ended up discovering another faintly related scent in Givenchy Gentleman (the original), another masterpiece that I use on a regular basis now. This EDT smells expensive and and in line with what you expect from the fragrance that put Hogo Boss in the perfume's map. As it fades even further on clothing the next day, I can get hints of the musky/urine smell some people mention, but fleeting and despite the unpleasant description, never objectionable.

This is a complex one that is really a great performer and is very easy a crowd friendly scent and could even be my new signature scent. This just sings on my skin with mellifluous honey and rich tobacco overlaid with twinkling aldehydes. Some reviews say it's reminiscent of urinal pucks due to mix of cleaned restroom notes and pussy/musky/orange. I don't get the brutal strength some people here describe; it projects nicely for the first few hours, all in all lasting around 7 hours with one spray on my wrist.

Reminds me of an amped up, thickened, smoothened, sweetened and dirtied version of Paco Rabanne Pour Homme. Who are you trying to convince here with your rant or are you just trying to use this as an outlet to validate your views? Not without a reason, as this was originally released in 80s, and probably this popular fragrance was copied to everything around us over the years.Released in 1985 this aromatic fragrance boasts main accords of woody, fresh spicy, honey and tabacco Notes. The base is a richly masculine and evocative blend of Tobacco, Oakmoss, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Musk, Amber, Cinnamon and Cedar.
