Bridging the gap between stylish and functional, the Hurricane has a semi-sporty tread that is by no means aggressive but can maintain a respectable grip on loose or moderately-technical trails. While it does have an inclination towards watersports, we feel both prepared and stylish in the Hurricane. If, though, you're willing to spend a bit more, the Bedrock Cairn Adventure provides higher performance with a lower profile that transitions from trail to town more convincingly. It was dead summer during this trip and, to beat the heat, I really just wanted to spend our time exploring the various lakes in the area.
