Oh my!! I don’t know how the amazing duo of Melanie Shawn is able to write a better, improved, and sexy story than their previous book, but they did it with Fire and Temptation, book 16 in their Hope Fall series which I just loved. Hot shot fire fighter Evan keeps his thoughts and feelings to himself. After getting injured during the last major fire he is at loose ends. The girl he’s loved since middle school is engaged to and pregnant by another man. After being tapped by Kyle Austin Reed to help give technical advice for a film Evan meets the actress Shayne Fox. If love at first sight is possible, then these two have it in spades. As these two spend time together they open to each other, telling things they had never told anyone else. The electricity and chemistry between these two could supply Hope Falls with years of energy. These two are perfect for each other. Evan is the first guy who aroused sexual feelings in Shayne. Evan finally understands that look guys in Hope Falls get when they talk about their wives. There’s so much more to this story that I would spoil it saying more that Evan is my new book boyfriend. This is going to be a quoted review because I don´t have words to describe this story. Well, I don´t have words but I have this: OTT. Alan Kane Fraser’s beautiful work about life the other side of the easel – its impact, its anonymity, the inevitable betrayal – both compels and disturbs.
