I gave it a leap of faith based on the name alone and I was so impressed - initially I gave it five stars but then I tried one later down that was absolutely first place. It definitely shows up on your face, but it blends really well and is slightly less intimidating than it looks.

If you prefer cream highlighters go with the poured formula and if you like an intense glow the pressed version gives just that. In fact, when the lovely PR was introducing me to it over a coffee, it got quite a lot of attention from everyone around us! The original formula is on the right of the photo – I though it might be useful to compare to the new Glow Dust Highlighter (which is the one on the left). Bronzey and Golden looks with Red or orange lips work the best with it as it accentuates the warmth.

The 8g baked highlighter will last you a long time and I would strongly recommend it, it's definitely one I will be reaching for often. Morphe was not kidding when it said this was a high impact product, a little definitely goes a long way here. Regarding the crushed pan in the pic above that looks like it spent a rough night with Matthew McConaughey, that’s one of the major bummers about this highlighter. My friend found a friendly domestic rabbit hanging out at her apartment complex, took care of it for a day and took it to the shelter, where another friend adopted it 🙂 People just setting pet bunbuns free makes me sad. All in all, I think Champagne Pop is a lovely high-shine highlighter, but if you already have several highlighters in your makeup bag, including a light peachy gold, and/or you don’t wear peach or coral blushes very often, and/or you need something sturdy that you can just toss into your bag, you may not need it (but you may still want it, in which case, I say go for it).In all honesty when I look at Becca Opal swatched next to Becca Champagne Pop they do look very similar so if you already own Opal I don’t think you’ll have to get Champagne Pop. It is very complex in color and the powder shifts depending on how the light hits the shimmer particles. After you posted about Becca shimmering pore perfecters last month I went out and bought 2, one liquid ( in topaz) and one powder (can’t remember name, it’s a taupe one). This isn't new; it's in special edition packaging, and I decided to re-review due to slight formula variations over the years and to get more updated swatches as it is such a popular shade.
