About this deal

I enjoyed the Andromeda 2020 from myriad sources, its sound is flexible to many source tonalities again, so long as the output impedance is low. I would say it is a change that has approached one step closer towards the coherency that a single driver IEM provides. There is often merit to the saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” and we’ve seen this mistake repeated countless times, especially in audio.

Lets say YOU are impossible to be influenced by freebies, can’t you acknowledge that OTHERS might be, or that the readers might think it possible? From the splitter up the two wire twists are a looser twist than the 4 wire below and terminate with ear-hooks and mmcx connectors marked R/L for reference. I would leave GO Bar for more demanding earphones and headphones, as its sound gets better, the louder it plays. A top-to-bottom revision of a Campfire classic, Emerald Sea features updated balanced armatures that bring a warm analog glow to an already crisp and detailed sound signature.This connector is being used to deliver super-duper high-frequency signals like Wi-Fi antennas, FPV drones video feed, or GPS. The Andromeda 2020 isn’t just a homage, but an entire overhaul that addresses the original’s weaknesses whilst compounding upon its core charm. Andromeda Gold triggers a mild sibilance (not particularly bothering but still noticeable) while Andromeda 2020 smoothly overcomes the sibilance area. Great choice when you want to reinforce the pros of the Andromeda, but since the top end is recessed in both it can get unexciting in some songs. The Andro has sharper articulation being a bit more revealing while the Aether R is smoother and denser up top but more contrasty down-low, deriving higher definition. The Andromeda would be a great complementary IEM to the Monarch if you want a different flavor from time to time. The Andro is a bit more defined in the mid-bass and doesn’t sound so humped due to its greater linearity.No matter how much you tell us about how your reviews can’t be altered by freebies, we can’t read your mind and know for certain your judgment wasn’t in the slightest affected by it being free. One is already connected to the Andromeda’s, other two are in the brown sheet with the manufacturer’s logo. Treble is probably the greatest difference between the two, as the MW10 seems to have a lot more of it. The gorgeous build and design are even further refined and the upgraded smoke Litz cable is very easy to live with. It isn’t as physical as a DD or something like the Aether R with its 3D printed low-pass filter, but delivers a pleasing sense of pressure that most vanilla BA monitors don’t.
