either put the 38mm depth radiator inside the 140mm fans panel (in front of the radiator at the right of the last picture), It seems appropriate to plug the AIO fan into the AIO fan header of your MoBo but there is a single AIO cable to manage both the pump and the radiator fans, I think Arctic (AIO builder) recommends using the CPU fan header.

And yes, I absolutely agree with both previous quote points, how they're doing it is the best u can realistically do it (And Liquid-Crystal Polymer fans make a sizeable difference, but it's not viable to change their platform), every few years the amount how much more (or temporary less due to thermal density/chiplets) u can get out of a case changes due to new technology but it won't show up in the test because they have to use what they started with. The CPU tests also were in the top 1%, if not chart topping (In the case of the blender CPU Render test) of all the metrics as well. Picture with first timer cable management horror scene (but wait to find out how this AIO is held in place)

Cases like this have been done in the past with success, and when you have people like Steve from GN advocating for cases with good airflow performance and teaching people why that is important, then it's kind of hard to go wrong unless the company is out of touch. Judging from Fractals popularity with pc builders, that definitely is not the case.

Since you don’t have the option to mount a radiator to the top of the case (remember, that’s where the PSU lives), you’re limited to impractical mounting options for liquid cooling, either in the front of the case or at the bottom. We couldn’t fit our EK 240mm D-RGB AIO in the front since we’re using a Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ti Gaming OC, which is 12.5 inches (320 mm) long. I even tried mounting the AIO first, then installing the GPU, but that didn’t work either. or put the radiator fans inside the fan panel in push mode and leave the radiator as show in last picture Still a bit concerned having the radiator with in/out at the top and potential fan speed / cfm disparities between AIO fans and 140mm case fans that would be on front.In that way, the Torrent has succeeded: It offers great, striking looks that balance aggression well without sacrificing modern design, and it has more cooling performance than any other case I’ve tested.

Air. We need it, our components need it, and for some time the industry’s fascination with solid front panels has impeded this basic need (for components, not humans). But there have been exceptions, with a number of open-front – often marketed as “high airflow” – designs introduced from major players in recent years. Like your current setup, I only have 2 140mm fans at the bottom, as the tubes/hoses from the AIO and the radiator is obstructing the last slot. i think both dust filters on both of of the case should be fine i think? but i think he would remove them for testing? I didn’t realize how tiny the Torrent Compact was until I started building in it. While I have experience with the Fractal Meshify C, that case looked small right when I first laid my eyes on it. However, the Torrent Compact does not. This isn’t a bad thing, but if you’re using a triple-fan graphics card, you’re cutting it close, as the case only supports graphics cards up to 13 inches (330 mm) with the front case fans installed.

I take that 76° GPU temps under load is to be monitored, so I will test the "option 1 - AIO config" but with bottom 180 fans going out and remove the air filter. Edit: writing this and compiling all the information, made me already realize a potential mistake: I've plugged my AIO into the AIO Pump fan header of my motherboard running at max speed by default. The recent LTT video about "1 year fan configuration against dust build up results" made me wonder if I've made good decisions for optimal temperatures.

The 180mm fans are shelf-surfers, for now... I think they are rated 50-150CFM whereas the 140mm are rated 30-110CFM, so the total volume is more or less the same, with a theoretically increased static pressure. I am running a 10900K with RTX 3070 Ti FE, on that case and my temperatures are pretty darn good. Normally my room temperatures are 68F to 70F. After running my PC for a little while, the room was at 73F. I ran a test and got about 51.5C on Average, with 70C holding most of the time and in some occasion jumping to 77C Max. My RTX 3070 Ti FE, was on Avg 55.8C and in some occasional hitting 81.5C Max. These are during spike, which last a second. I cannot pull these on the Corsair 680X using an AIO, which of course I had about almost the same low to idle temperatures when the computer was not in use of 27C-to-33C with the AIO while the air cooler was about 33C to 35C. Keep in mind the room was already warm so the air temperatures could be lower during idle if the system was not running. I won’t quite say that I have grown tired of companies taking the safe route by slapping a fine mesh front panel on cases. But I admire creativity, which is what Fractal has brought to airflow-focused cases. Not only does the front panel look good, but it also performs really well, without even adding an exhaust fan.While it makes sense to embrace airflow for your components, there would traditionally have been a noise penalty. This just isn’t as high as it once was. I like to live in the past, so let’s think of the sound emanating from your system in the 2000s! But we no longer use 80 mm CPU coolers with 5000 RPM fans, blower-style GPU coolers have become uncommon, SSDs are silent, and HDDs produced today spin in virtual silence. Again, why do we need solid front panels?
