Avery and Finn have instant attraction to each other but are initially just friends, until Avery asks him to be her sex coach in exchange for helping him with branding for his business. I absolutely loved the Love, Me and the 303 Series by Kay Cove and when she announced she was looking for ARC readers for her standalone novel, Camera Shy, I freaking RAN to apply.

And second, the bloated overuse of the women against women trope during Avery’s overall body confidence journey. I loved that even through her hardest times she was collected, poised and the queen Finn eventually made her believe she has already been. This reads like self insertion, like it’s everything the author wants for herself which is a massive yikes.The insecurities, the a**hole ex, the PITA (she’s a lot more than this but I don’t want to give anything away) best friend. They have a perfectly content life, own and run a business together, and have been dating for over 4 years. Otherwise I liked the twists and turns I definitely thought Nora was going to be more pyscho but honestly I'm not sure the story needed it once we got the best friend drama which worked so well. I struggled with the negative self-talk and how repetitive it was becoming when she was having so much positive reinforcement to help her through the issues. There is a lot of spice in this book, it is after all focused on Avery asking Finn for sex lessons soooooo it should be expected.
