About this deal

Herein is the problem between the three possibilities. On the worse end of the spectrum is a light with built-in cells – such as the DX80. Those cells die and you have to buy a new light (generally speaking). On another end of the spectrum is a light with a cell holder. The tradeoff there is an increase in size because cell holders take up space. But they’re easy to install and manipulate. There’s only one way to hold this light if you don’t want RSI, and that’s an underhand hold. As it weighs over half a kilogram, holding it up in a tactical hold is going to become annoying real fast. I could not find any PWM on this light, this is due to the fact that it uses a high-efficiency constant power circuit that maintains constant brightness. This flashlight is a formidable self-defense weapon without having to even touch a bad guy. It’s a reassuring option to have in hand things get “out of control.”

There’s a smooth custom reflector surrounding the emitters; the reflectors on the outside are deeper than the one in the middle, but that gives the outer emitters more throw, and allows the central emitter to flood more to even out the beam. Imalent has released the Imalent MS06 Flashlight. This little beast uses three 21700 cells and has an incredible 25000-lumen output. Read on! The runtime test was done on Turbo and the High setting. Turbo produced over 12.000 measured in my (not officially calibrated) Lumen tube and 5880 Lumens on High. The hold and feel of this flashlight are very good. The light is tiny, it is smaller than expected. You can see this in the size comparison pictures later in this review. It is even shorter than a Convoy S2+, which is a standard 18650 style flashlight! The IMALENT MS06 is a Can-sized EDC flashlight with amazing performance. It contains six cree XHP70.2 emitters and powered by three 21700 4000 capacity Li-ion batteries.This Can-size light can reach a maximum output of 25,000 lumens and beam distance of 513 meters.

What is it?

Middle low starts around 616 lumens and slowly decreased output till it dies after 19 hours and 20 minutes. Last measured output was roughly 160 lumens. (Specs: 19h) F or those who prioritize compactness but require high energy output , the MS03 is an excellent option. Measuring only 4 inches in length, the MS03 is almost unnoticeable when worn on a belt, yet it can unleash a remarkable 13,000 lumens of light when necessary. It's hard to believe that a flashlight so small can produce such an intense amount of light! The MS03 is truly impressive in its capabilities. Imalent – a brand long known for high output lights, the makers of the first commercially available 100,000 lumen light (the MS18), and all-round heavy hitter in the flashlight game. I’ve had my eye on their lights for quite some time for that first reason – they put out an absolute ton of light, CRI and CCT be damned.

Inside that heavy dust spring and well greased thread.which will make this easy to operate and screw off and screw on of the flashlight. Really that is excellent machining and finish.

Here are a few runtimes. On Turbo, I am not seeing 25,000 lumens even at startup. But (at startup) we’re practically within my 10% margin of error. At 30s, we’re on the shoulder of a long (and planned) stepdown. The stepdown should be to 4000 lumens; it looks to be around 3300, and from there the light trails downward. There is Low Voltage Protection and also a low voltage warning by the indicator near the switch. First, it turns red, then it blinks red, and finally, the light turns off. The last measured output was roughly 1750 lumens. (Specs: 1h 30min) When switched on, the indicator light will flash when the remaining battery voltage of the battery is less than 3.0V.

Hardware specs

The 34000 lumen flashlight MS08 is designed to be a powerful rechargeable flashlight for long-duration and high-lumen use. The three cells that the MS06 comes with are Imalent-branded, model number MRB-217P40S. There’s not a whole lot of information out there on the internet about them, but they appear to be a non-USB-rechargeable version of the cell found in the MS03, the MRB-217P40. All the magic comes from the six XHP 70.2(2nd gen) Cree LED’s. The XHP 70.2 LED brings a higher lumin density and longer life at high temperatures. Please fully charge it before turning it on. Charge the flashlight only with the supplied USB magnetic charging cable.
