NAND and other flash chip memory is much more expensive than SD flash memory. Even with manufacturing costs being low, they are typically sold higher corresponding to the higher memory size, especially when it's not removable. And if those games would be the problems, then they wouldn't be as welcomed as they are, and they are also selling quite nicely, so that's sorely missing what's really going on there. And of course it's also true that a certain amount of people would buy the Xbox or Playstation versions if they also had one of these consoles, but other people actually like being able to take that same game with them on the Switch, and they are willing to accept having that game in a lower fidelity to get that advantage.
