Sadly, these helpful measuring devices aren’t readily available in every shop, so they can be hard to come by. The Persil dosing ball can be used to measure the right amount of concentrated liquid to add to your washing machine. It has two dosing lines, one at 35ml and the other at 50ml. Fill the dosing device with roughly 27ml of liquid detergent for standard loads which is just under the 35ml line on the dosing device. For heavier, more soiled loads fill the dosing device with roughly 40ml of liquid detergent, which is in between the two incremental lines on the dosing device. These balls are designed to replace the use of laundry detergent in your wash cycle. They move around in the water alongside your clothes and increase the pH levels of the water, which helps to eradicate dirt, germs, and bacteria from your clothes.
